| Roles and Responsibilities of G China Industrial Business Development Manager |
|
| Qualifications and Experience: |
- Graduate in either Chemical, Mechanical or Engineering
- Possess strong business acumen with a strong track record in business development in the G China market for industrial products
- Has a good track record in business development with good industry knowledge especially in the Automotive and/or Electronics selling/marketing durable products.
- Has experience with Taiwan electronics market
- Good analytical and strategic capabilities with a good track record in building and managing a sales, marketing and customer team.
- Must have a total of at least 5 years experience with at least 2 years in a management position.
- Familiar with Excel, PowerPoint and Word software and Lotus Notes.
- Good spoken and written English
- Age range of 30 to 35 years old

- Reports to Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Director

| Major Objectives: |
- Accelerate growth in the mobile phones, electronics, automotive and Taiwan markets
- Develop and execute local and regional strategies and objectives to meet revenue and profitability growth objectives
- Grow existing business and develop new businesses. Identify and develop new markets
- Manage and grow existing accounts. Grow market share for existing applications and markets
- To develop business relationship with new end users, distributor/agents and converters
- To ensure high customer satisfaction with Avery’s service and response.
- To hire, lead, develop and motivate a strong G China team to ensure continued growth and profitability of STD’s business in assigned territory
- Develop capabilities and career path of valued individuals
- Provide sales training to his team and to distributors
- Develop systems and processes to increase productivity within his team and the functions that they work with
- Enable timely analysis and decision-making to drive timely achievement of projects

| Major Responsibilities: |
- As part of the Asia Pacific Sales and Marketing Management team,
- Be a role model to motivate strong individual performance
- Contribute proactively to
- Help formulate Asia Pacific strategies and objectives
- Translate and execute regional programs locally
- Monitor and feedback progress of key programs timely
- Report market trends and competitors activities
- Help run market research
- Understand and track competitors’ strategies and activities, and be able to execute appropriate plans to counter them
- Prepares strategic and annual operating plans for assigned territory and his/her team
- Develops strong teamwork with his peers in other regions and in other functions
- To leverage on their experience and successes
- To solicit support for his team
- To effectively make decisions
- Support and drive regional programs at the local level
- He will coach and train his sales and distribution/converter teams
- Selling skills and opportunity prospecting
- Price management
- Product knowledge
- Through one-on-one fieldwork at least once a month
- Customer management
- Usage of sales tools and business unit process tools
- Time and territory planning
- Conduct performance reviews
- Complete annual MBOs, development plans and annual performance review through GPS timely for himself and direct reports.
- Formally or informally conduct regular performance reviews with each of his direct reports
- Work with HR to motivate, incentivice? and reward performers, and replace consistent poor performance where required
- Meets at least once a month with his team and individually
- To identify new opportunities and to track effective completion of projects
- Understand their difficulties and support them with solutions
- Monitor and provide feedback to management and marketing on market trends and developments:
- Meets at least once a month with logistics and finance team based in Kunshan on
- Sales forecasting
- Credit issues
- Inventory
- Customer service
- And any other operational and financial issues
- Submit weekly, monthly sales estimates, Horizon updates and any other reports timely
